ENLIGHTENMENT BY SELF-INQUIRY–pt137
Self-Realization is remaining as the Self. That is, the Self's Existence as one's sole
Identity, without an alternative, as the Reality without
"other", without–a–2nd, without Duality. Therefore, no Individual becomes Self-Realized. When the imagined Individuality is abandoned,
the Self remains self-revealed, comprehending itself in Self-Knowledge.
For the Realization of the immortal Bliss of eternal Being,
one should know oneself as the knower alone, which is unalloyed, boundless
Consciousness. In knowing the Self truly, one knows that Consciousness is never
non–existent & never alters its Nature. Since it is without an Ego, Consciousness is
never an Experiencer, a Thinker, a sensory Perceiver, a Performer of action, or
an individualized Knower.
[Ramana]
A Self-Realized jnani sees no one
as an un–Self-Realized ajnani. All
are only jnanis in
his sight.
In the ignorant state, one super–imposes one's Ignorance on a jnani & mistakes him for a Doer. In the
state of jnana, the jnani sees nothing separate from the
Self. The Self is all shining & only
pure jnana. So there is no ajnana
in his sight.
