ENLIGHTENMENT BY SELF-INQUIRY–pt153
The great sage, Adi Sankara, observed that one can hold any
of 4our views. One can adhere to an unqualified dualistic view. This means
sheer dualism without any exception. One can possess a view of qualified
dualism. This is a belief in dualism with some exceptions. One may hold a view
of qualified nondualism, that is, some nonduality while retaining some
exceptions or dualisms. Or one can embrace pure, unqualified nonduality.
