REALIZING NON–DUAL LIBERATION, ENLIGHTENMENT BY SELF-INQUIRY–pt20

Examine what you regard as your very Identity [a body, a personality, …]. In Truth, you cannot be other than the Self. So practice Self-Inquiry with full intensity, full purpose, & full perseverance. For any alternative such as “habitual,” “lazy,” or “wrong thinking” – there is no valid support for it. There is no valid cause for it. It does not stand on Truth. In Truth, you cannot be other than the Self. So, inquire as to what makes you assume that you can be other than the Self. This Self-Inquiry should be directed centrally along the lines of, “Who am I ?” Once turned inward to oneself, discard [net, neti] erroneous identifications like the Body, Mind, Senses, Prana, Ego, World. Then employ 90% of the time & effort into "fathoming" that self, until it is clearly the Self.
